Whether you are engaging with us as a potential client, as a client, as a strategic partner or as a research participant, we utilize data privacy protocols to ensure your personal data are respected and protected.

We will not share your personal information or use it for any other reason other than which it was originally intended. We adhere to the privacy laws and market research codes of conduct in each country we provide marketing research and strategic consulting services.

Sylver Consulting and strategic partners do not transfer personal information to a country outside the United States unless that country ensures an adequate level of protection for the rights and freedoms of data subjects.

Sylver Consulting has commissioned and implemented technical and organizational measures to meet all applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory guidance in relation to the processing or protection of personal information relating to a resident of the European Union or otherwise subject to protection under the laws of the European Union and its Member States, as amended from time to time, including but not limited to, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Our website and related social media pages are not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly or intentionally collect data about children under 16. When submitting personal data, your information is transferred to the United States to support our operations, and you hereby consent to such transfer which is protected in accordance with GDPR. Your Personal Information may also be stored and processed in any country in which we engage service providers. We recognize our responsibility to protect the information you entrust to us. Appropriate security measures are in place to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected at our site.

Your information is housed in a secure facility in the United States. The software and applications used for project management, accounting, communications and marketing is governed by strict system security and data protection protocols. Web-based, online software provided by the client may also be used and related security protocols are the responsibility of the client providing such online application.

We may disclose Personal Information shared with us to members of our team, including our service partners for the purposes of or direct marketing or consolidating support services.

Sylver Consulting uses robust organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect personal information within our company. This includes security controls to prevent unauthorized access to our systems. While we take reasonable steps to secure your personal information, please be aware that no transmission or security system is guaranteed to be 100% secure from intrusion or hacking, and there is always some risk assumed by sharing Personal Information online. We invite our clients and contacts residing in Europe to consent or not consent to receive marketing communications from Sylver consulting. Our marketing email contains instructions on how to opt out of future marketing communications. Most users can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. When rejecting cookies, for example, you may still use our website, but your ability to use some features or areas of our website may be restricted. You may also request for your information to be deleted. In such cases, we reserve the right to respond to your request within 20 consecutive business days and may need to retain certain information for record-keeping purposes.

Privacy Policy for Research Participants

Sylver Consulting is committed to protect and safeguard personal data collected from those who engage in our studies as research participants, including individuals representing businesses or entities, consumers, and patients.

Having privacy policies in place is extremely important for market and opinion research since research companies like Sylver Consulting are in direct contact with business people, consumers, and patients on a daily basis. While interacting with research participants, we often obtain confidential information from them. That type of information may contain Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and or Protected Health Information (PHI). In order to protect the company and the research participants while complying with legal requirements such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”), the Child Online Privacy and Protection Act (“COPPA”) and other relevant statutes and regulations, it is very important to us that those who engage with Sylver Consulting during research opportunities are aware of and understand our Privacy Policy for research participants.

Privacy and data protection

In order to fulfill our goal to protect consumer, business and health related information, Sylver Consulting adheres to the following policies:

  1. All PII and or PHI obtained shall be lawfully collected, compiled, stored, allowed access to, processed and utilized by Sylver Consulting;
  2. Participation in all research projects is voluntary and respondents may opt out of any research project, at any time. In addition, consent will be obtained prior to the collection of PII and or PHI.
  3. All PII obtained shall not be disclosed to any client other than for lawful research purposes. In this regard, in general, clients will not receive (a) the last name or telephone number of any recruited respondent for any research study; (b) any original screeners or sign-out sheets containing any last names or telephone numbers. Further, clients are bound by Sylver Consulting’s Privacy Policy and any such information shared with clients will be used for market and opinion research purposes only.
  4. All PII and or PHI obtained shall be treated confidentially, used for research purposes only and not be disclosed to any person not employed by Sylver Consulting, except with consent, as required by law or by court order.
  5. Sylver Consulting adheres to the policy laws of all countries in which it manages research and strategy projects.
  6. Sylver Consulting adheres to research industry Codes and Standards relating to the USA.
  7. Sylver Consulting will not transfer personal data to a country or territory outside the USA or the European Economic Area unless that territory or country ensures an adequate level of protection for the rights and freedoms of data subjects.
  8. Sylver Consulting complies with all pertinent Federal and State laws governing privacy, including but not limited to the recently enacted California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
